Analytics & reporting
Insights → Analytics & reporting shows your workforce and its cost as charts: ready-made analytics, plus dashboards and reports you build yourself. It uses the same people, allocations, effort and costs as the rest of Flowstate, so the numbers agree with the forecast and effort reporting.
If Analytics & reporting isn’t in your sidebar, ask your Flowstate contact to switch it on. Cost charts need access to cost figures — ask your Flowstate admin.

Opening Analytics & reporting takes you to your default dashboard if you’ve set one, or to the Dashboards tab if you haven’t.

Where the numbers come from
- Forecast figures come from allocations, salaries and rates. See Allocations.
- Actual figures come from the effort people report. See Effort reporting.
- Pull request and AI figures come from GitHub and your AI providers. They’re actuals only.

If something’s not right
The Financial or Hybrid workforce tab is missing. You don’t have access to cost figures, or Hybrid workforce isn’t switched on for your organisation.
A dashboard tile says “Financial data restricted”. It shows cost, and you don’t have access to cost figures. Ask your Flowstate admin.
