Connect Mistral

Connect Mistral to see what your organisation spends on it, beside the rest of your AI spend.

You need access to connect AI providers. Ask your Flowstate admin.

Before you start

  • An organisation administrator on a Mistral Enterprise account.

Connect Mistral

  1. Sign in to the Mistral Backoffice and create an Admin API key for your organisation. Use the Backoffice, not the Admin Panel at admin.mistral.ai: keys from the Admin Panel don’t work.
  2. In Flowstate, go to Settings → Integrations, select Browse catalog and open Mistral (Enterprise).
  3. Under How to connect, select Use this route.
  4. Paste the key into Admin API key.
  5. To see one workspace only, enter its Workspace ID (optional).
  6. Select Verify and connect.

Check it’s working

The key is listed under Connected keys with the status Working. See the spend in Agent insights.

What Flowstate brings in

  • Billed cost by consumption category, such as chat, completion, OCR and audio, a calendar month at a time.
  • A total for your organisation. Mistral doesn’t report cost per person.
  • Flowstate syncs every hour, and brings in your history when you first connect.

Mistral marks this reporting as a preview, so it can change on their side.

If something’s not right

The key is refused. It probably came from the Admin Panel. Create an Admin API key in the Backoffice instead.

The connection shows Key rejected. The key was revoked or replaced. Create a new one and select Replace key on the connection.
